Where we feel that students may need further support, we may ask you permission to carry out some screening tests with your child.  The tests may include assessments in areas such as reading comprehension, reading speed, writing, working memory and processing but may also include other areas if necessary. The testing will happen during the school day during lesson time. During the test it will be explained exactly what needs to be done and what is being assessed. After the testing is complete, we will discuss the outcome and send you a confirmation of the results. Any outcomes will be also shared with teachers to enable your child to be supported.
