Normal admission point is Year 6 into Year 7
To apply for a place at secondary school you must make this through the Local Authority that you currently live in. It is possible to apply online once you have received your child’s UID or Unique Identification Number. Alternatively, you can submit a paper application which can be downloaded from the Local Authority’s website.
You can apply from 11th September up until 31st October 2021.
To help you make up your mind about which secondary school is best for your child, we hold an Open Evening in September for prospective parents to meet our staff and students and to look around the school. We strongly recommend that you attend either the Open Evening or join a tour around the school meet us and find out more about the school.
Admission into other years
Occasionally children enter the school outside of the normal admissions point and there are currently a few school spaces in some year groups. If you wish to discuss the possibility of a space at the school or arrange a tour please contact the Heads PA Karen Yates (firstname.lastname@example.org), who will be able to arrange an appointment for you.
If your application is unsuccessful, you will be given the opportunity to appeal against the decision and also to remain on our waiting list should a place become available.
