Year 9 pupils were today able to spend a day as ' college students' thanks to Cornwall College kindly hosting our pupils for the day. Year 9 were able to choose from a host of sessions and activities with some pupils travelling to sites at Stoke Climsland and Newquay as well as to the St Austell site. Here are some of the comments from Year 9 pupils which give an idea of how much they enjoyed the experience.

'I enjoyed the childcare course because it was very interesting and interactive' Bryna

'The Health and Social care session showed me how to be responsible for supporting people with disabilities and it was fun.' Keeley,

'I really loved the cooking- we made pasta and bread and I wore a proper chef's hat and jacket.' Kieran

'I enjoyed the computer animation as it gave me a real taste of what games companies do. Brandon

'I built a wall with Curtis. I got quite a bit of mortar on my shoes but I liked learning the different building techniques.'Cale
