For the fourth year running Poltair Dance students presented a wonderful range of performances at the Restormel Dance Festival held last week at the Keay Theatre. This year's event was bigger than ever with four performances including a matinee for primary partners.

This collaborative showcase, in which Poltair and Penrice schools work together to feature their students' work, had some exceptionally strong performances this year. The beautifully polished group pieces performed at the opening and closing of the show by Year 11 GCSE students from each school were especially striking and enhanced by back projection of images echoing the theme of 'conflict'.

If you have never been to one of these performances then do make sure you get a ticket for next year's show - you will be amazed by the talent and professionalism of the community's young dancers.
