On Sunday 4th March from 10.30am - 12.30pm Friends of Par Beach were holding their annual Spring Beach Clean and Litter Pick in conjunction with Clean Cornwall and Keep Britain Tidy's 'The Great British Spring Clean', also in support of Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) 'Big Spring Beach Clean'. As all year 7 students will be undertaking a sustainable citizens day based on recycling on Thursday 8th March the schools Eco Squad made up of girls in Year 7, were invited to take part in the beach clean alongside their Year Team Leader and Geography Teacher. It was a fantastic day with parents of the girls and some of their tutors taking part in the event as well, having a huge impact on the Par beach area. Congratulations to Caitlin McGuigan, Lily Jose, Willow Tucker-Smith, Ashley Hammond, Amber Roseveare and Bethan Winn for their efforts.
