Wet Weather Doesn't Dampen Spirits At The 2014 Sainsbury's Cornwall School Games

On Friday 27 June up to 2,000 young sports stars from primary and secondary schools across Cornwall, defied the weather to take part in the biggest sporting event in the county - the 2014 Sainsbury's Cornwall School Games and Poltair was there in force.

The competition saw students from across the county competing at Richard Lander School, Penair School and Truro School. The standard of competition was very high and the community spirit among the competitors was equally impressive. Poltair had students competing in a range of events including girls' cricket, basketball, dance, skateboarding, scooting and Projectability. Well done to all the competitors but a special mention to Jordan Dodd and Owain Canniff for winning Gold in the Projectability Table Tennis category.
