New%20Govenors%20at%20Poltair SchoolAs part of their induction process, on a wet and windy day, a small group of governors toured the school accompanied by Mr Tong, Daphne Johns (Chair of Governors) and long-serving governor, Jean Wood, Mrs Fran Clapham, Miranda Hope, Dan James, all parent governors, and Tessa Claridge, community governor, visited many lessons and very much appreciated seeing the school at work. The behaviour of pupils was exemplary and they talked about their work knowledgeably, with confidence and enthusiasm. Governors found the visit very useful and informative and are grateful to staff and students for the warm welcome they received. In fact it was so good they plan to do it again!
