As a school, we have recently received a letter of thanks from the charity Water Aid for raising £1559.96 in the last academic year. We would like to extend this thanks to the friends and families in the Poltair community, as without your support we could not have made such a difference to so many people's lives in developing countries.

The money raised has been donated to schools such as Tsimahavaobe Primary School in Madagascar, which now has clean running water from taps for the first time. This has improved students attendance and con-centration in lessons allowing them better opportunities to get a good education.

A message passed on from the primary school: "Sitraka enti-matory ka ho valiana raha mahatsiaro." Which translated means "We're not able to pay you back, but from now and for the rest of our lives, we're going to sleep with this great gift that you have brought us."
