Our students have a wide variety of ideas as to how our school can continue to improve. To make use of their expert knowledge (they are the only ones who know what it is like to be a student at Poltair in 2013), we have a Student Council.

The Student Council is designed to ensure that all ideas are shared and considered as a way to improve our school. Each year we have an election process where all students are invited to stand for the role of House Representative and also The School Council.

The Campaign Begins

This week the campaign for elections to our Student Council have started in earnest. Each tutor group has already elected their House Representatives (who will share ideas discussed in Tutor Times). Students have been sharing their campaign speeches during House Assemblies and they are now creating campaign material for the next two weeks. Election for Student Council takes place on 16 October where students will have the opportunity to vote anonymously for their Student Council.

So, Poltair Pupils: make sure you use your vote!
