Budding medical students in Years 10 & 11 today enjoyed a talk from Luke Graham of Cornwall College who works with the University of Exeter to support students who wish to apply to study medicine in the future. The session gave the pupils a clear idea of what is needed to successfully gain a place at medical school and a timeline of goals to achieve along the way. Ethan said 'The talk was interesting and useful and helped me to know what I need to do.' Luke brought along some visual aids including a stethoscope and surgical gloves so that the pupils could get a real feel of being a doctor.
