Eleven teams made up of staff, parents and pupils braved the awful weather last Thursday to take part in our second Family Quiz event sponsored by Coodes Solicitors. The quiz rounds had everyone puzzling over the tricky questions set by former Poltair teacher Tony Lake which included rounds on explorers, music and Christmas films to name but a few.

The evening was interspersed with musical items from our talented musicians and singers and everyone enjoyed the delicious pasty supper. The interactive handsets used to answer the multiple choice - style questions added to the fun. A raffle with prizes generously sponsored by Coodes and other local businesses raised almost £80 for Coodes nominated charity of the year Children's Hospice South West. A special 'thank you' goes to the quizmaster Jonathan Eade of Coodes.
